A special programme was organized at Government College Jawali on 26.02.2022 under the patronage of Prof. Nishant Narang, Nodal Officer, and Road Safety Club. The programme was presided over by Smt. Neeru Thakur, Principal (Executive), while Prof. Ashwin Sharma, playing the keynote speaker, presented an enlightening lecture to the students in a very interesting manner on the subject of “Road Safety, Survival”. Inter-house competitions were organized by the club as directed by the Directorate of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh. In these, Nancy I, Priya Kaundal second and Ritika Chaudhary and Priya iii in the essay writing competition; Kajal first, Prarthana and Pratisht Gupta ii and Priyanka iii in slogan writing; Aditi 1st, Anmol Guleria 2nd, Sejal 3rd in poster making; In the quiz, Priyanka Bharti’s team was first, Sumit’s second, and Kashish’s team third. At the House level, “Lal Bahadur Shastri” the House performed best by scoring maximum marks. All the participants are honoured with testimonials and awards.
