The rising traffic in the city as well as rural areas of the country, has highlighted the importance of road safety education for the students.
A child who learns about traffic rules and road discipline will grow up to be a law abiding citizen. The habit of obeying traffic rules teaches a person a sense of responsibility empathy for others and respecting the other person’s.
In view of the importance of Road Safety, GDC Jawali established a “Road Safety Club” on under the convener ship of Sh. Nishant Narang Assistant Prof. of Commerce. Club members ensure the active participation of students in various Road Safety Programme. Road safety club of GDC Jawali was established as a mean of teaching the younger generation with a view to inculcating good road behavior.
The main purpose of the Road Safety Club in the socialization of youth is to inculcate in them road safety culture with a goal to potentially minimize the problem of road traffic accidents.
