This college started by the Government of Himachal Pradesh on 8th June,2018 with the objective to fulfil the higher educational needs and aspirations of people of this area with humanities and commerce streams in one independent portion of the GSSS Jawali school building having sufficient teaching rooms, Principal office, Administration office, staff room and newly constructed three rooms are also added to the existing infrastructure.
Jawali is a historical town and sub-divisional headquarters of Sub-division Jawali of district Kangra. Most of the area is Hilly and inhabited by Pong Dam-Outsees and others communities. Presently, the college has workable sufficient basic infrastructure facility and students. A new land site of 84 kanals has been identified for construction of college building and administration is making every effort to start construction at the earliest.
