Workshop on E-Filing of ITR-2 (Excel Utility) hosted by Govt. Degree College, Jawali

Govt. Degree College, Jawali, organized a One-Day Workshop on E-Filing of Income Tax ITR-2 (Excel Utility) on 21st September 2024. The workshop was conducted virtually through Google Meet and saw the participation of over 450 attendees, including professors and students from prestigious institutions such as Delhi University, Himachal Pradesh University, Sardar Patel University, and various other universities and colleges across the country.

The event began with a warm welcome from Mr. Nishant Narang, Assistant Professor of Commerce, who introduced the distinguished resource person, Dr. S.B. Rathore, former Associate Professor of Commerce, Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi. Dr. S.B. Rathore, an expert in tax matters, shared his extensive knowledge on the practical aspects of e-filing Income Tax Returns using the Excel Utility.

Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Principal of Govt. Degree College, Jawali, formally welcomed all the participants and the esteemed resource person, Dr. S.B. Rathore. In his address, he emphasized the importance of such workshops in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, particularly for students and educators in the field of commerce and taxation.

Dr. S.B. Rathore’s insightful lecture covered a range of topics, from basic concepts and deductions to advanced tax computation techniques, making it a highly informative session for all attendees.
